Excellent find. Our first time and a great find in AA’s rich dinner market. Modern look, professional+efficient staff and a nice, reasonably-priced menu.
This was our first visit due to restaurant.com and we loved it! The food and service was excellent! Great choices in wine!
The best!. My husband and I have been going to Logan since they first opened. Everyone there is friendly, the service is great, and the food is excellent. In our opinion, Chef Thad is the best chef in Ann Arbor.
Never been treated so rudely by a restaurant owner. After an having an appetizer, and waiting 35 minutes for a dinner that didn’t come, I informed the staff I was feeling sick, that I didn’t feel sober enough to drive home, and asked for a taxi. They never called a taxi, and told us to leave. I called the following Monday to offer to pay for the appetier, but got only a voice mail directing me to the website to make a reservation. Tonight I went to have dinner at Logan, and offered to pay for the appetizer, but the owner barred me from the restaurant permanently, in front of other patrons waiting for a table. I have dined out in Ann Arbor for 40+ years, and have never had such an incident, or been treated so rudely. I agree with the reviewer who said owner and patrons were a bunch of bloated wanabees.
Great menu, great service, high prices. First time here. Food and service were great. Danni our server was friendly, attentive, and fun. Menu was interesting and worth getting to know better – several dishes looked good and it was difficult to narrow my selection. Good cocktail menu as well that has some inventive and fun recipes. Only criticism is that the prices were a bit steep given the venue. If we don’t return that would likely be the reason. At these prices, there are a lot of higher-end restaurants that perhaps offer a more unique dining experience or a more out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. Bottom line – great food and great service, but missing an X factor with the atmosphere. Is it worth a try? I definitely recommend it, yes. Will it be one we return to several times? Probably not. (Hint: Check out Restaurant.com for possible coupons.)
Great Food Great Service!. We went to Logan last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What an incredible experience! The night was rainy and blustery but inside Logan was chic, warm, and inviting. We lingered a couple of hours over cocktails, 6 courses, and a bottle of wine, coffee (excellent coffee) – never felt rushed and the gracious attendance provided by Larry (our server) was paced just right. He was there when we needed him offering pertinent and helpful suggestions, but otherwise unobtrusive to our dining. We enjoyed a gruyere fritter amuse bouche, gruyere custard, ahi tuna, the bacon and egg salad, ceasar salad, wild boar bolognese, thai scallops, osso bucco, fresh biscuits, and chocolate mousse. We would recommend every single dish and would probably order the same things all over again the next time we’re there – but everything was so wonderful in taste and presentation that we also look forward to further exploring the menu. And let me tell you, there will definitely be a next time. We live an hour away but it is definitely worth the drive. Two very minor complaints – cocktails took a wee bit long to receive, though not long enough to wonder or ask where the cocktails were, just thinking in hindsight. Also, the pasta with the bolognese was a little clumpy and ever so slightly overcooked. But really, these transgressions are so minor and our overall experience was so wonderful, that they hardly register. Go here, be pampered, eat and drink well. You will leave a happier person.
Excellent. Without a doubt the best restaurant in Ann Arbor! Check out their lunch menu too. Why have mediocre lunch when you can have this delicious upscale menu to choose from.
