This was a really mixed experience. We went to the new location on liberty. When we arrived the service was the worst I ever seen. The waiter had no idea what things were on the menu so he went to get the owner. This owner who happened to be a young girl was equally cluelessThen the real owner showed and things changed direction immediately. He was awesome. He recommended some great chicken skewers that the kids devoured. I had two rolls and some other sidesIf it was not for the owner stepping in I would’ve left. The price was right too. The portions were perfect and we did not leave hungry. The only downside is the spicy rolls could use a lot more spice. $70 all in w tip for a family of 4Great experience. But beware of the wait staff.

Good place. I recommend it , but some parameters: first, I was looking for a all u can eat sushi bar and couldn’t find one in Ann Arbor. Menu was reasonable w rolls from $5 and up. Also, there was only one sushi chef so service took a little time. Dont recommend the soup, I had noodle, onion and spinach soup and it tasted like it was made in dish water (what I imagine that tastes like). The sushi was good. I had the spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, salmon on the beach, shrimp, Philly and a couple other rolls. Also had macarel, yellowtail sushi. All of that was pretty good. Bill for all that between 2 people was about $70. The Joint in Reno spoiled me…but this place I will go to again in AA.
Shoyu ramen. Friendly wait staff, decent food at a good price; unfortunately they are often out of ikura, and their udon is typically kind of soggy, plus they dont serve a more traditional Korean fare. Overall it is a good spot though.
Great service, small friendly and very reasonable. Good sushi but no alcohol, so no saki or beer to go with it. Udon noodles were great.
