My brother and I visited Palio for the first time the other day, and we were overall impressed with the freshness of the food. The quality of ingredients made for a delicious meal. To start, we had the meatballs, which were hand-rolled and made with just meat (no fillers). I had the vegetable pizza, which came with artichokes, goat cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, and spinach. The dough was fresh, the pizza baked to order. Though I wish the vegetables had more flavor, it was still a good pizza. My brother had the eggplant parmesan over spaghetti, which he liked. The noodles were made in-house while the eggplant was slightly fried to order. I felt that the dish could use more seasoning, but the ingredients were key to the meal.
The food was fabulous and restaurant was bustling with energy. We ordered quite a few starters and main course dishes along with desserts. The vegetarian pizza was really amazing , the lasagna was okayish (the cheese was hard & chewy), the mozarella bread was fabulous, brushetta could have been better. For me the Tiramisu was the highlight. It was heavenly delicious. All in all , I had a great dinner.
