Wanted to try something new and we were disappointed. My daughters glass of coke had residual of lime stuck to the inside of the glass, the menu choices were very limited. Ever sit down to a restaurant, look at the menu and want to leave immediately? We were wondering if this was it? We looked at that menu forever and finally decided on our items, but were very disappointed. I got the chicken enchiladas, but the sauce on top was cold and tasted like a sweet pasta sauce. I ordered a Mai tai and my husband got a margarita… Both were watered down. The bathroom was in the basement — the ceiling was nearly touching my head. The only positive thing I can say was our service was good. Also the chips and salsa were decent.

Fresh, modern look at Southwest. Just moved back to Ann Arbor after many years. This place is killer good. Very fresh. Creative. Quesadilla, spinach and shrimp queso dip, chicken rellenos and chicken sope were all exceptional. Very unique twists on some traditional dishes. Might pass on the enpanada next time. Good, but not in the league of the other offerings. Going to give these guys another visit soon.
Dinner. Went for dinner on a weeknight. Food was excellent and the specials were unique. The restaurant is small but it isn’t cramped. I would recommend this to anyone in Ann Arbor looking to enjoy a Mexican restaurant
Sucks. Where do i start?? bad service bad food and no manager?? ordered a Tanqueray and tonic while i waited for my wife to get there… she arrived 10-12 min later and ordered a margarita(still no drink for me)when he brought her drink out i was informed that they were out of gin…22 minutes after my order. the wife ordered the shrimp quesadilla… wow it reeked of fish. made us gag, un edible. i ordered chicken enchilada. tasted like chicken from a can. gross. mind you the place was about 25% full on monday @ 7 pm we were there until 830. not by choice. the service was awful. all of this and nooo manager after i asked the server and hostess. i would hide in the back as well if this were the sh!% show i was running. avoid at all cost.
It was delightful, fresh and pleasant! Went here to do some catching up with an old friend, everything was great! My crabmeat enchilada was light and incredibly delicious, as well as the black bean!
Great staff and decent food
