This was THE premiere place to go for fresh seafood in A2 as far as I’m concerned. But then again I haven’t been in awhile & I know the seafood culture is not what it was. Anyway, the prices are what you’d expect in an establishment of this caliber…I could never go and not order a whole Maine lobster!!
Went to Real Seafood Company to celebrate friend’s graduation for dinner on a Sunday evening. We ordered the paella, broiled maine scallops, surf and turf and crab cakes. The paella was pretty average, the rice was not soaked and simmered in the seafood broth for a long time. The broiled maine scallops were good but I don’t think I would come back for them just because eating ten-ish scallops in one go is a good idea. I was so done after my fifth one. I did not have the crab cake and the surf and turf but my friend and her mom enjoyed it. Overall it was an average experience. Food was okay and service was pretty slow. 11amclub.com
Disappointing dining experience. 08/04/2014 I can’t remember when I have been so disappointed with a dining experience. Richelle B’s attitude was as overcooked as the food. I know I will never eat at this restaurant again.
Not usually too picky . . .. For a restaurant with an average of $40 per entre, this was not just disappointing, it was bad. I would have had to make a real stink with management if not for the 50% off we received because of the birthday (meal only) discount. For an expensive restaurant, you should not have to be asked to pay an additional fee to have a table salad instead of coleslaw. We both ordered pasta type dishes, and both came from the kitchen appearing to have been sitting under a sun lamp for several minutes, as they were both dried out and the pasta was literally brown and crusty on the surface. They have a very minimal fancy drink menu, and little capability to create what you ask for outside of that menu box. Supposedly, Chef somebody or another, was rated number two for one of his concoctions in some forum; it appears he doesn’t actually work there or supervise the kitchen staff at all. I would never return, nor ever recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. It is pricey and not at all good; I get a better meal out of any one of the Olive Garden franchise restaurants than this place, at less than half the cost; and you don’t have to be asked to pay extra for their endless salad. It sucked!
Bland and not impressive compared to nearby establishments on same block. Skip it and chose another.
Great Seafood. Great place. Love the seafood here. One of the best of you are a seafood lover. I had a little wait the last time I went here. I had the crab cake appetizer which is excellent. I also had the Salmon which was cooked very well. Scallops were also delicious. The only downside is the parking but this is just the way it is in AA. Par for the course.
Excellent food! Highly reccommend the diver scallops! Lobster bisque soup was good. Disappointed by no lunch specials, spending $25 for lunch is a bit high!
