Stay way from this place place if you’re black or a brown person. The bartenders are as rude as can be. I was in there with three of my friends – all black – and we were treated like second class citizens. The white people were always taken care of first and I even saw a girl get thrown out because she dropped her money on the ground and was looking for it. The bartender – tall, skinny, ugly white guy – said to, what seemed to be a bouncer, she’s not trying to pay for her drink fast enough and, even though she found her money, she was still escorted out. The worst part of that issue is that she was with a bridal party. The staff is horrible and this place doesn’t deserve to still be in business. My friends and I would come here back in 2006 – 2008 when we were in school here and the place was ran so much better and people were treated properly! Jason was the manager back then and he would have NEVER allowed things like that to happen! I guess he did too good of a job for this new staff! Pathetic!!!
The BBQ brisket was tender but dry (like it had been cut for a while). Ribs were firm to the tooth but still pull off the bone tender. Great selection of beers. Service poor for 5pm on a Saturday night. Place was partially full and plenty of servers waiting for the dinner crowd. We got seated immediately, but waited for someone to greet us at table. No drink list on table. We had decided on our meal choices and my wife went to bathroom, and still no server yet. I watched 4 other servers walk past , waiting on others. Finally had to go to bar, which was 10 feet away, and ask if someone could wait on us or could we move to the bar. Finally got service, but no acknowledgement from management about poor service. Recommend the food but would say expect poor service
Weird people, high prices. PROS: really the only chic dance bar in a2 like it, live drums to accompany music.CONS: strange crowd of people, no drink specials, ever, and really crowded, always.not my favorite place at all.
