Unexpected surprise !. The outside of the restaurant isn’t incredibly inviting and when we walked in the place was pretty empty but we were greeted by a really friendly waitress and we enjoyed the music and authentic decor so we decided to stay. Our waitress was helpful suggesting menu items as the menu is quite large. We had fresh coffee made for us, she was around to fill our cups several times. Our meals were amazing! We had the Mexican and Cuban breakfast plates, the food was fresh & hot, authentic flavours and large portions. This was one of the best Latin American restaurants we’ve eaten at and all for under $25.

Three times not the charm. We tried Sabor Latino three different times. I kept convincing myself that each bad experience was just a fluke but every time the service was pathetic and the food was bland at best regardless of the order. The only (relatively) bright spot is the deal for cheap tacos on Tuesdays. But even then there’s no way I’d pay full price for them on other days. There are many higher quality hispanic restaurants in Ann Arbor to settle for something so mediocre.

Had a terribly awkward experience. Walked into a completely empty restaurant for Sunday brunch and was served burnt, bitter Maxwell house coffee. There was some confusion about whether or not they were still serving brunch and our waiter was clueless and a little bit creepy. we asked to just pay for our coffee so we could leave. When we were waiting for our bill we saw that our waiter was just standing around!!!! Will never go back

Great tamales,..can’t beat margarita Mondays or taco Tuesday’s..the shrimp, onion and cilantro tacos take me back to San Pancho.

Great little Latin joint! I’d recommend any day. The fried plantains and slow cooked shredded beef were both some of the best I’ve had to date within 200 miles!

Stopped in on a sunday afternoon. Outside table were packed so we ate inside. Slow service to start, but drinks and chips came out followed quickly by our food. All six of us LOVED the food. Wait staff and manager were very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Great deal on Tuesday’s – $1 tacos (generous portions and many options for meat or vegetables) $2.50 tecates!! Not the best I’ve ever had but certainly worth the deal on Tuesday’s! Outside seating too 🙂
