Very good sushi. Place was backed and had to wait for a table decided to go down the street for a drink so we left our number with the hostess to call us when a table opened up…and to our amazement she did. Great friendly and attentive staff. It is loud but still looking forward to eating here again.
Best sushi in aa. Love this place, I try to come here every time I’m in town, I still haven’t found a place that compares to here. The portion of each piece of sushi is just right and the fish is fresh.
Great sushi and Don. My favorite sushi in AA. Always top notch, perfectly made and great service. I also love the chicken and beef Donburi.
Favorite Cheap Sushi. As far as sushi goes, I have never had a roll I did not like. Great place to go with friends. Prices are cheaper than most of the other places. Waitstaff is hit or miss, but they are usually accomodating. The chefs are fun though, if you ever get to sit near them.
Sushi Overload :). We went here for dinner tonight based on the positive reviews here and we’re hooked.I balked at first – it is a small place and I’m not that keen on small spaces. However, the layout, color, and sushi bar itself got me over my reluctance. Or maybe it was the passing tray of sushi that went by… I was bewildered by the menu, and probably need glasses to read the ordering sheet – thankfully hubby could fill in the boxes and is more familiar with sushi in general. The kids meal was the best and most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen offered for kids in a restaurant. A side of lovely steamed vegetables along with the fried dumplings, and loads of tasty tempura along with half a California roll. And it came artfully arranged on a pretty square plate. Our son was impressed. To save time and agony of decision making we ordered a family surprise kind of tray – chef’s choice of popular sushi and nigiri. Then the food started coming out. The salad with a great little sauce. A bowl of miso soup. I was prepared for that as I’d read all the comments. But then the ‘on the house’ goodies began arriving…A plate of veggy and shrimp tempura. YUMMO.Then a fried dragon roll! Our 7 year old loved this!I was feeling pretty full after all that. Then what we ordered arrived. LOL! It was all very fresh, laid out on a golden platter… well, a plastic golden platter. The place was busy, but very well run. The staff were courteous, fast and efficient. We had a great time and finally rolled out the door to return to our hotel. We would most definitely come here again. The prices are reasonable, the food tasty, and the service fast.If you don’t mind small spaces, you’ll enjoy a real treat.I really wish we’d taken pictures, but we were just so involved with eating we never got around to it.
