This place has some of the best food in Ann Arbor if you understand and are willing to put up with the way they operate, which is most likely the source of most negative opinions towards it. The food itself deserves a far better rating than some customer experiences can really reflect. This is not a place to go in and sit down, or drop by on short notice. By far the best experience you will have is to do the following, and this is critical: Order online in advance, and take it home. Do it. The full menu is on their website, pictures and all, and it’s pretty quick with a credit card. It’s even quicker and more convenient than other restaurants if you understand how they work and you just plan to place your order for a certain time (at least ~45min in advance) and go pick it up (or get it delivered, though they don’t always have that available) and take it home or to one of northern A2’s many stunning public parks. That being said, the chicken is among the best I’ve ever had, with breading that’s thinner than typical American fare in a way that cooks the skin nicely and makes it crunchy. When you eat their chicken, you are actually eating chicken, not a bunch of breading and some soggy skin. The skin is crispy due to the unique method of frying it, the meat is tender and juicy, and the sauces are nice, though they aren’t the main draw. Neither would be too spicy for most people, and I typically get half & half because both add to the experience. You can choose not to have sauce, but I wouldn’t. The rest of their Korean food is all good and worth ordering if you want something other than the chicken, though it doesn’t stand out as much in a place like Ann Arbor. The different kinds of fries are surprisingly nice for a specifically Korean place. I’ve moved to the other side of the state after graduating recently, and I’m finding myself looking for excuses to swing by A2 just to have their chicken again. There’s really nowhere else like it that I’m aware of.

Lazy Street!!!. Open and close when they want. Limited menu. False advertising — delivery only on line w/ credit card. Do NOT take CASH!! How’s that for service. Must have webmaster writing reviews to con the public.
