I went here with a group of people the other night and we ordered a variety of food. We started with fried brussel sprouts and chicken katsu. Everyone ate up the katsu, and the brussel sprouts were quite good. For the main course, I split some tofu ramen with mushrooms as well as the fried shrimp with rice. I really enjoyed the rice with the vegetables, though I think the shrimp could’ve been flavored more (with tails removed). The ramen was so so, nothing special. It didn’t have much bold flavor, and so it felt like a rather expensive soup put together without much cooking (the mushrooms weren’t soft). On the other hand, the cream puffs for dessert were fantastic. We had a variety of vanilla, red bean, green tea, and chocolate. They were big and filled with cream. I could’ve eaten more of them if I had the chance. Our waitress was very nice and relatively aware of the needs of the group as they came up. I suppose I’d come back to try their specialities, because I believe what I ordered was not one of their better dishes.

Yummmmmm!. I love Slurping Turtle. The best ramen I’ve had this side of the Mississippi. If you go here, order ramen. I don’t recommend the sushi, there are better places in the area but dont worry, the sushi isn’t necessary with the amazing Ramen. Also, get the soft boiled egg in the ramen, amazing!

Noise. I agree, way too noisy. i felt like i was in a high school cafeteria. the seating left a lot to be desired, but if you like no table space and strangers elbowing you while you eat, this might be the place. i order the fried rice, and while it was very colorful it was pretty bland (not much for vegetarians). i will say that the waitress was very friendly and the service was fast, but i don’t think i will be back.
