Oysters Oysters Oysters. Excellent selection of oysters, and cheap bubbly on Monday nights, if you cant go to Mani, go here. They also serve an excellent shark fillet.. To be honest, I typically don’t eat shark this far from the ocean, but to whoever supplies them… should be my pusher man too, tis the BOMB.
I’ve been to The Black Pearl before, the fish tacos as others have said are truly to die for. I was most excited to hear they are now open for lunch! I work downtown, so dropped in last weekend on opening day at noon. I tried the ruben sandwich it was perfectly cooked, absolutely amazing tasting, beautifully presented with a side of great tasting fries. I even had the pleasure of meeting their new head chef Russ Culp. He talked me into coming in for diner to try his new Fennel Dusted Scallops this weekend. I’ll let everyone know how it is!
The food is sublime, the service is excellent. I absolutely love the atmosphere and theme.
It delivers. Love the martinis and the fish tacos are great. Live music added to an already cool atmosphere
Great food and happy hour!. I have mostly enjoyed this place for their great late night happy hour. They have the best french fries (with thyme)! I also have eaten here for dinner, and I had some amazing fish! The manager (owner?) is extremely attentive and tries really hard to make you feel valued.
Black Pearl – not a great experience. Food was fairly good, sauces too sweet. Very loud table next to us prevented us from enjoying ourselves. Owner offered dinner on him, perhaps we’ll try it again.
Food was terrific. Service awesome. Great atmo.
