An institution in Ann Arbor. The rueben sandwich – pastrami on pumper nickel with sauerkraut is just legendary, period. Opt for the regular size. The place too is so charming, and full of character. A must if you’re ever in Ann Arbor

Ohhh my word i went here few years ago. It was wonderful. I loved the sandwich i had. Its a place i want to go again. Plus they have cute shops around the town. Can’t wait to go back there.

definitely expensive, but very delicious! waited 20-30 minutes the first time i went and about 10 the next time. also, they let you try anything in the deli, so taste the cheeses and breads!

Ok ok ok, I get that it’s been an A2 standard in Deli since I went to school there, but come on now! $20 for a corned bee sandwich?!?! Kind of greedy don’t you guys think? To be quite honest, you’d be better off doing Deli in Bloomfield or West Bloom. Better value, more authentic, better pricing, and larger portions! Zingerman’s is a classic case of a local joint going corporate thinking and gouging folks in the process. Thanks but no thanks. I’ll get my Dinty Moore off Greenfield Rd.

Another reviewer said it most succinctly: Apparently sodomy IS legal in Michigan! I ordered a Reuben, which at $15.50 is already more expensive than any Reuben at ANY deli I’ve ever been to, and I get around. You can pay $3 more to get double the meat, so I opted to do this, but I wanted Pastrami for the extra portion. Apparently, the young, and not so bright, girl plugging our order into an iPad seriously jacked something up, because when we checked out and found that our bill for 2 sandwiches, 2 pops, 2 tiny bags of chips, and a brownie came to FIFTY FRICKIN’ DOLLARS, I reviewed the bill and found that my sandwich was now $20.49, instead of the $18.50 it should have been. OK, $20.49 for a Reuben is beyond comprehension, but perhaps it’s going to be a 2lb mountain of gloriousbeef and superbly grilled rye, right? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I got the tiniest damned Reuben I have EVER seen! I mean it. It was about TWO inches high, and FIFTY percent of that was BREAD! And to make it worse, it wasn’t even REMOTELY close to being the BEST one I’ve ever had. What I got was FLAT-OUT RIPPED OFF. F*CK YOU, Zingerman’s! You no talent! I hope you die in a car accident on the way to the bank with my money.

We have tried Zingerman’s Delicatessen for the breakfast but I’m not fully satisfied. We have heard many good things about Zingerman’s but we only got regular tastes.

Bah. Good food, but overpriced even for AA, and the ordering and serving processes are annoying. I felt like I was in a cattle call!
