Ill chefs cafe. My wife and I have enjoyed our meals at this diner. Sam and Tracy (owners) are great people. The food is plentiful and good home cooking style. It’s a lackadaisical atmosphere which we find very comfortable while dinning out. Mind you now it’s not a full service Madison and fifth ave type of restaurant but more of a neighborhood diner. If you want the Ritz, pay the Ritz prices and go where you may. This is homey.
Some People Can’t be Satisfied. Lil Chef is what it is. Mighty Good. You get great quantities, great hot food, and a family owned diner all for a Great Price. Many times they will be busy because of all those reasons. So give the wait staff a break.I dislike when someone complains. complains….complains in a review. You spend 6 or $7 and think you are a food critic at a 5 star in NYC. This Lil Chef is a home town family run by a Young Lady with a family. So please don’t complain complain and complain. This is a nice place to get a nice breakfast (always Hot) and is just as good and better than other places in Battle Creek that do the same type food. Try going to Malia in Battle Creek if Lil Chef is not up to what you think you should get. Oh by the way you will be paying twice the price, but both places are Great at what they do.
