Amazing restaurant!. Mazza was my first experience eating Indian Cuisine and it did not disappoint. I have been back twice already. My favorite dish I’ve had so far has been the chicken korai. I also highly recommend the samosas – aloo, beef, mazza – they are all delicious! Mazza is the place to go if you are looking for a nice sit-down environment with awesome food.
Talk of the town rspot. Great authentic food excellent service beautiful atmosphere. Strongly recommend try them out.
I have eaten there ten times at least and I have found the staff friendly. They seem eager to please the customer. I have taken my parents and wife’s parents and we all had a great meal. It doesn’t get very much business but I think that’s probably because it needs to move out of berkley where people are used to eating american food. Ie. Coney Island express and of all places a&w?It’s good Indian food give it a try.
Terrible food….. We were very excited to go to this place but only to get thoroughly disappointed. We ordered appetizers – a mixed appetizer – a mix of Samosa and different types of Pakoras. Every type of Pakora was like tasteless stone, all of these were evidently double re-fried. We thought at least the samosa will be good, but were so wrong about even Samosa. Tasted terrible – We were wondering how could they go wrong with a simple item like Samosa.Our main course were vegetable biriyani and Chicken Pall.Vegetable Biriyani: I have never seen anyone use Cabbage in vegetable Biriyani. This biriyani was more like a mixed rice of a vegetable curry. They gave a vegetable curry with the biriyani and this curry tasted just like the mixed rice with the same vegetables seen in biriyani. Meaning: The biriyani was nothing but a mixed rice made of the curry that they gave. Taste was not terrible, but it was NOT biriyani for sure, but a curry rice.Chicken Pal: First of all, this item was not freshly made. As the description of this item says, it was very very hot (I mean, real hot !). Other than this being so hot, there was nothing else in this chicken item. No taste, no signs of other spices. The chicken tasted very stale.In total, we did not like this place and will definitely NOT recommend to people whom we care about.
No value. So disappointed.. I was disappointed when we went there. We ordered a chicken tikka masala and there was not much meat in it. The rice was a disappointing because they used broken basmati to cut cost. The only time I ate broken basmati was as a student in england because it was cheap. I used to like the passage to India because it was the closest flavor I could get to an English Balti.
Worst Restaurant and Arrogant Staff. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I went there for dinner and ordered a vegetarian platter. To my surprise they served me a platter one non-veg dish with lamb in it. I requested them to replace the platter since I am purely a vegetarian person. Instead of apologizing, the owner simply asked me to eat rest of the items in the platter. When I refused, he asked me to get out which was very ridiculous. Since I had paid thru groupon, I asked him to be nice but instead he called 911. Who in the world would call 911 just because customer is requesting requesting to serve him proper food? I was really astonished to see all this happening. The owner is very arrogant and doesnt know how to behave with customers.
