This is the kind of place outside Texas that gives Tex-Mex a good name. Good rice, good beans, good chips and great salsa. They get the basics right and that’s the key. Cheese enchiladas and chicken enchiladas were large and flavorful. Taco was well above average even by Lone Star State standards. And the prices are fantastic. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Went here for an early dinner before a movie. After 45 of waiting, and watching our server stand and talk to the bartender, we finally asked the hostess where our food was, because we were going to miss our movie. After, the hostess came back to tell us our food had to be remade. In other words, we left hungry so we could make our movie. Will not be going back.

Garbage. Tried this place for the first time….absolutely no taste/flavor at all. I had steak fajitas and wife had a chicken burrito. Terrible, won’t go there again.

Best Tex-Mex Around. We’ve never been dissappointed with the Border Cantina. It is one of our favorite places to eat and, if any indication by the long wait times on a Friday night, many others agree. I highly recommend checking them out any time from Sunday to Thursday, if you want to find a place to park and get seated quickly. Best salsa in town, hands down.

Mmmmmm! Went to this place after not finding the Lebanese restaurant we were looking for. Very pleased in the end that we settled!!! Everything that we ordered was amazing–from the tortilla soup to the chicken fajitas. Much higher quality than all those chain Mexican joints that seem to be spreading like a plague in mid-Michigan these days for the same price. A warning: portions are absurd, even by my standards–after making 5 fajitas out of the materials I had been given, my brother made one and I still had some left over! Very highly recommended but you might want to share!
