We’ve been eating at Pi’s since they opened BUT NO MORE! The last 2 times their sushi rolls had more rice than filling, portion sizes on dishes smaller and distinctly inferior ingredients–tofu, chicken, beef. Sushi Zen tho more expensive, will be getting our biz from now on.
Horrible. When Pi’s first opened it was pretty good, not excellent, but good and not to expensive. Well the last few times I dined there, it seemed like the quality had gone way down. Then the last time I was there, will be the very last time. I have never had such bad food…. Let me put it this way, the food tasted off. The meat was gamie, like it was going bad. The vegetables were burned and sooooo oily they were swimming on the plate. The rice…. It was old, dry, and hard! Disgusting! I was pregnant at the time, and I truly feared for the safety of my unborn child! I only took a few bites, then asked my mom and kids if their food was okay, which they replied, it was not. I asked the waitress to take the food back, explained the problem, and asked if I could please see the manager … We waited for 15min, which was way to long, but I wanted to give Pi’s a chance to redeem themselves… No one ever came back, and in fact when my family and I were walking out, we heard laughter… Well Pi’s , I’m sure I will have the last laugh. There is no way, a place as miserable as that, will stay open. Hell, the health inspector needs to stop by, unexpectedly. That would surely close the place down. Oh, and to the management, you might want to discourage your kitchen staff from smoking on the side of the building, while talking about people dinning at the establishment. FYI, Spanish is a common second language…. Not everyone wants to hear what some guy thinks of some girls , ass, and how badly he wants to smack it. Something drastic needs to be done to Pi’s. Maybe a total overhaul of employees, management, food care and prep, cooking lessons.. Anything has to be better then what is going on right now.
Disappointing!. Have dined here many times since it opened..used to be good food, good service at a decent price..NO MORE..average food, HORRIBLE service (waited way too long for food, received entree before appetizer, had to take check up to cash register as our waitress said she was too busy to cash us out), too expensive for aggravation we suffered. This was not the first time we’ve had this experience here..have learned my lesson..will not go there again.
Wrong button to push. We have dined here often since it opened. Food reasonably good. But today, we brought in a coupon, ordered based on the criteria on the coupon. When the check was presented, the staff person came back saying that they no longer honor the coupon. We responded that there was no expiration date on the coupon, that didn’t bode well with us and we would not be returning. Next the manager came over and said that she would honor it even though they expired. We responded no date is on the coupon, her response, it was on another part of the page. We pulled that out, no expiration. It boiled down to calling the customer a liar. We were really ticked. Will not be back. All over a coupon totaling a few bucks. Really -restaurants NEED to treat their customers right — or lose us to the restaurant down the street.
Just ok. First let me start by saying, its good for Brighton, that being said, its not that good. The food is heavy and often bland, the portions are ok, but for Brighton smaller and a bit overpriced. by about a dollar per dish. The sushi is horrible. I have made sushi exactly once and mine look better, very small portions of fish. The pad thai is the best in brighton, and the rest of the thai menu is not at all close to being thai.
Delicious pad Thai. Think Panda Express but classier. It hits the spot when you’re in the right mood.
Worst Asian food I’ve ever had. Sushi was delayed by two hours and they didn’t tell us how long it would take even though they later admitted they knew early on. I’ve had better sushi at Meijer, and the other Asian food was just as poor. I’ll never go there again – once was one time too many.
