Excellent restaurant with awesome food. I have eaten here many times and I have never been disappointed. Everything from the sandwiches at lunch time to the appetizers to the dinner entrees and craft cocktails. Never a bad meal.

This restaurant is hands down my favorite. It has the freshest and most unique food with the best quality for your buck. I have been going there since it opened and I have yet to have a bad experience. Highly recommended !

Best Food In Brighton. Chef Steve and the crew always impress, and if at first they do not succeed they go out of their way. Raw bar in the winter to the patio menu in the summer, not too mention the Spoon style tapas (small plates) are great to share and take a culinary tour around the world. The entrees are always nicely done and their beer and wine selection is top notch. When we go out, 9 out of 10 times we will go here.

Not impressed but willing to try again. Today my wife and I tried The Wooden Spoon in Bighton, MI. The menu was very appealing with the assortment of fine dining options. I ordered the paprika smoked sirloin with cheddar polenta and my wife ordered the pan seared chicken with herb rissoto. When we received our food, my sirloin was still very rare when I had ordered it medium. My wife’s chicken was very good but her rissoto was under cooked. The staff was quick to correct the problem but the steak and cheddar polenta was very bland. The highlight of he night was the wine and oysters from the raw bar! I would be willing to give this place a second chance, but I would not order the sirloin again. It was not worth $26 for the dish.

Wonderful! Quaint atmosphere and excellent service. We had 4 entrees and they were all superb. Upscale without being pretentious. Fresh ingredients. Reasonable wine prices and nice selections. Will definitely return.

Brighton has needed a place like this for a long time. Fresh ingredients, great service, super creative carry out offering . Can’t wait to go back.
