Hot Dogs, Loose Burgers. I live in wa state but am from ypsi,my mom and dad used to take us to bills as little kids any way I might get bills chili dogs shipped to wa state? Seriously
In business since 1938!. Bill’s has been in business since 1938, what an amazing place! Four coneys and two home made root beers for only $7.20 or so…… Really cheap and great! The home made Root Beer is nice, the home made coney sauce is also interesting, a bit sweet, but great. I recommend this place! Cash only!
Great Dog’s at Bills. Bill’s hotdog stand is a staple in the Ypsilanti community. The dog’s are great and have some of the best hot dog chili around, home made root beer, and the loose burger is not bad either. For as long as I can remember this yellow stand has had cars lined up to get these dogs. so if you want an old fashion hot dog and root beer go to Bills Hot Dog Stand. you can even order the chili or root beer to last over the winter when they are closed
Been going there for a years! Love it! Can’t wait for the winter to pass each year so they can open again!!
It’s average. Nothing that will bring me back. Had a better hot dog at a gas station.
Blissful Simplicity. Bill’s Hot Dog Stand is an Ypsilanti staple. The fact that they have survived for so long while only serving coney dogs and homemade root beer should tell you that they serve some damn fine coney dogs and homemade root beer! I have been eating there for well over 20 years and the quality of the food and service has not changed one bit. The staff is prompt and courteous; and the food is simple, delicious and inexpensive. The root beer is not to be believed. I have never tasted another root beer that even came close to Bill’s secret recipe. It is pure heaven served in a frosty glass mug. Combine that with some seriously scrumptious coney dogs and a bag of chips served up on a car window tray, and you are rewarded with a quintessentially American dining experience.
