There are many China Chef locations, but I prefer the Ypsilanti location.In Taiwan, beef noodle soup () is a common dish for a quick snack, lunch or dinner. So visiting China Chef, beef noodle soup is a must try here. That’s the one thing I always get, but sometimes I do mix it up.On the menu, they offer a lot of dishes for lunch special. Its pretty cheap for the amount of food given. Mongolian Beef would be my recommendation.Usually people get carryout, but theres a couple of booth as well as table for dining in. When dining in, no tipping is needed.
Terrible experience. I have never, I hope never again been to a restaurant where the host/cashier would spit not just once but twice into a cup stored beside the cash register in less time than it took for him to rudely charge the order. He was extremely rude because we charged the order instead of cash. WOW! He actually slammed the receipt and pen on the counter and held it until we said to please let it go so we could sign it. I could not wait to leave and will not be back.
This is honestly the best Chinese I’ve had. My student organizations orders from them biweekly, and I had been on a hunt for them for about a year before I found that it was this place. They have the best beef broccoli I’ve had to date, especially since they don’t seem to use green onion in the sauce, or they must strain it before they create the dish.The egg rolls could be cooked a little longer for the vegetables on the inside, but other than that, I haven’t experienced any issues with them.
