But were a bit quiet in this (near) off season, late September and the entire area was slowing down. A little disappointed that with a the promising name, there was a very small selection of wine and beer. Food and service was good though.
Great brats. Service was great – super friendly. Tried the beers – blonde, ipa and tiramisu porter. Enjoyed them all. Prices very reasonable. Bonus they support USCG.
Good beer and wines. The bartender was very nice and explained about what was in the area. We actually were staying on the Candian side this trip but it was good to see this side too.
We grabbed a bite for supper at this place. Two of us enjoyed the baked whitefish which was quite good.
The wines are mostly sweet and the taplist is short. But at $4 a pint, it’s a great deal. And the outdoor patio offers a partial view of the Locks.
Workman like pizza and pub food. Good flat bread choices and sandwiches. Beer was very good. Wine, meh, it is drinkable. One of the many great choices in the Soo.
