  This Grandpa Tony’s on Columbus has an owner who serves as hostess and acts like she could care less about the fact that you are attempting to give her restaurantyour business. She is rude, unfriendly and not at all interested in an apology much less any compensation for a bad experience. We waited 1 1/2 hours for lunch even though we personally contacted the server and the kitchen several times. The owner was in the restaurant doing her hostess duties and says she was oblivious to the situation.If you want to enjoy good food and service at a Grandpa Tony’s, skip this location and head to the Grandpa Tony’s on Wilder Road in Bay City. You will not be disappointed at their restaurant and they will be very happy to have your business.

  I had the Italian beef for lunch here and it was good. The atmosphere reminds me of 1975 and it is a cheap place to eat. The food was good but nothing special. I will possibly return but it is not high on my list

  Best Place in Town!!. I have since relocated from the area and I dream about the steak sandwiches and grilled mozerella sandwiches! Very good food at great prices! They also make excellent drinks (try the Long Island made with italian ice) and great desserts.
