Great food and beer. Had to visit here to check it out for myself. All the reviws were old. I was joyfully surprised at how great the menu was. And the brew were equally good. will be back. don’t listen to old reviews. People come and go in food service. seems like they are running strong now!
Waste of time. We came because of the $15.99 dinner for 2 special. My wife and I came in for the crab encrusted whitefish advertised on the wall. The waitress said they didn’t have it at this location. So my wife ordered the turkey dinner (bad choice, they grilled it : dryer than cardboard). For a side she ordered beer cheese soup. Then I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs (very good but not much meat). I also ordered the beer cheese soup then the waitress told us this restaurant also doesn’t have the soup which is in the menu. The other couple with us ordered chicken Alfredo and a while later the waitress came back and said they were out. One got salmon which was ok, and the other got chicken stir fry which parts were hot and parts were cold. Her soup also was not hot. Cranker’s lost two couples that will never go there again.
Awful service. The service at this place is terrible. Entire wait staff needs to be fired. Rude and incompetent. Spend your $$ somewhere else.
Worst dinner in a long time. We went here with high hopes after being told that Crankers was good. My husband ordered 1/2 slab of ribs, I ordered chicken tenders. There were several soups listed on the menu, but they only had two. I tried to order potato salad with my meal, but they were out of that. I finally settled on the macaroni and cheese. We waited a long time for our food. Once we finally got our food, the ribs were impossible to eat. They were as hard as rocks and impossible to chew. My chicken strips were OK, but nothing special. The macaroni and cheese had thick spiral noodles. The sauce was pale,runny and bland. Both of us ate only 2 bites. Our waitress never came back after sitting the food in front of us. We sat for about 15 minutes after we were done trying to eat, with our plates pushed to the side of the table waiting for her to return. There were no refills on drinks. The only other couple in her section had to flag her down for refills. When she arrived her hands were dripping wet. She kept them behind her back and I watched as water (I hope) dripped off them. On the positive side, we were not charged for the rib meal. It would have been a nice gesture if the manager had come out to apologize. This is not a place I can recommend.
Worst service ever. If you’re hungry, don’t go here. You’ll starve before you talk to a waitress.
Pricey, ordinary, good service. Our food wasn’t bad, but not particularly great either. The one exception was the chips and cheese appetizer, which was nothing more than some (probably) store-bought chips with shredded cheese melted in the microwave. I could have made that at home for a lot less than $6! The entire bill for 2.5 people was over $30. We just ate at Red Lobster for less than that a few weeks earlier. This is no Red Lobster. I will add that we had friendly and prompt service.
