Changing recommendation. Hamido in Dearborn is just better and cleaner than the one in the Heights! I recommend that you drive a few miles down Ford and up to Warren for the original. Not too far away, go get great food from the original location.24 Apr, 2012Great sandwich. I got some takeout shawarma from Hamido on Sunday. Very nice chicken and meat. Cost is approximately 3.50 each. Good for takeout.
Not close to the food of the original location. Wow what a disappointment when only the hummous and bread was good. This place is truly bad with burnt dried meats and cold rice WTF. The place is real busy preparing take out orders. As the only customers eating we should have been feed better. We ordered the special for 2 with all the meats and I ask could I have the Toubolli salad instead they sent out fattoush WTF. We ate half and took the rest home so I can marinade the dried burnt meat to make it good enough to eat. I’ve ate a dozen plus times at the original and have never had a complaint or bad food and service. I just can’t believe they put there great name on such a terrible eating place,,,,,,, Stay away it sucks,, I rarely write bad reviews like this, just stay on Warren ave for the foods. albeerpoe.blogspot.com
