How you not Love owner Li so damn funny ha ha, the most outgoing business owner ever. She talks broken English which be great to talk with her. She keeps husband busy in kitchen while she cleaning non stop, taking orders in dining room and phone takeout order. She’s a non stop working machine place every inch spotless clean. I asked to keep menu for photos she say,,, you no make mess on menu. OK then outstanding experience had Sizzling Rice Soup a favorite of mine that you place dried Rice in bowl for Snap, Crackling, Pop loaded with Veggies, Shrimps n Chicken be a whole meal. Also another classic be Mooshu Chicken all ingredients made fresh, you know Mooshu if not this one of the very best around. Very hard to find Balamaki most definitely the very best juicy tender marinated Beef on a stick. Going back for much more, large parking lot back you enter into kitchen watch husband a Master one man show. Long time hidden Gem you fly by on Michigan ave. albeerpoe.blogspot.com
Good Chinese!. The worst part of this restaurant is trying to order. I wanted carry-out, and I did not have a menu. It was a big mistake. I could not get a recommendation from the woman at the restaurant, so I said the only Chinese I could think of…. Kung Pao Shrimp. She continued to ask me questions, none of which I could understand…. I just prayed that I would get something edible.Upon arriving at the restaurant, it was a quiet and serene interior. There were about 20 seats inside, and it was modestly decorated. The woman’s English was not much better in person, so after paying my 7.82 for my meal, I returned to work with high hopes. When I opened my carry-out container, there was much to be excited about. A large helping of Kung Pao Shrimp (with lots of shrimp), fried rice, a roll, an eggroll, soy sauce, and sweet and sour sauce for my egg roll. I could barely eat half, and the food was delicious. Some Asian restaurants over-spice their food, but this was surprisingly tame for ‘medium’. Next time, I think I’ll get the spicy-hot.If you can tolerate the struggles/insecurities of ordering, you’ll love this restaurant.
