Birthday Cake. Recently a friend of mine bought a three layer cake from Masri Sweets that was the best birthday cake I’ve ever tasted. The frosting has a light, whipped-cream-like texture that is not too sweet like most birthday cake frostings. It was beautifully decorated and the cake was moist and delicious. I’m leaving a bakery I’ve been going to for over 15 years and will be going to Masri Sweets from now on!
Great staff!. Excellent service! Staff is much, much more friendly than at Shatila. Good pastries, and they even have sugar-free varieties, which seems very hard to find.
The BEST. By far the BEST bakery in Dearborn! I’ve been stopping here almost weekly for years now and have ALWAYS received the best baked goods AND the best service! The guys are great-they give out samples before you buy and remember customers and greet them as friends.LOVE LOVE LOVE MASRI!!!!
Better than Shatila?. By my vote this place has better, tastier baklava than the king of middle eastern sweet shops in Dearborn, Shatila. I love the flavors and the freshness. This is where I go for baklava.
Great service for someone like me who isn’t knowledgeable about middle eastern pastry. This was my first time trying kanafeh and I’m do pleased I did. Will definitely be back!
The Masri sweets is the best middle eastern sweets joint in Dearborn. The Knafeh is to die for! If you are a Knafeh fan, don’t even think about other places. This is the real Naboulsi authentic Knafeh. Thank god for Al Masri
Don’t Miss!. While Shatila and New Yasmeen may be more glamorous, Masri’s sweets are every bit as delectable: the knafeh is just as melt-in-your-mouth as I had in Jordan, and the 17 billion different kinds of baqlaweh are all scrumtious. I went on on a quiet afternoon and was treated to numerous free samples by the friendly staff before making my purchases: I don’t want to guarantee this on their behalf, of course, but the customer service was exemplary. Yum!
