I love pie and am VERY judicious about it–it needs to be as homemade as possible, otherwise, I will wait and make my own. Sister Pie is just that: home made. We had the honey lemon meringue, nice solid crust (no soggy bottom for you GBBS fans) and deliciously lemony, with a nice creamy look from the honey. Our coffee and tea were also good, and a nice cookie choice: rose pistachio, paprika peanut butter. The indoor seating is small and the seats were constantly rotating, as there was a line the entire time we were there.

The portions are larger than average but reasonably priced. On our recent visit, we tried the peanut butter- paprika cookies and they were to die for. It had the perfect balance of crunch and saltiness.We can’t wait to visit again the next time we are in Detroit.
