Amazing. Go… right now. Get a croissant. Any kind. Feel like Audrey Hepburn as you eat one of the best pastries in Lansing. So Good.
SCRUMPTIOUS LIGHT DESSERTS If you are looking for a light snack try their mousse cakes. So far I’ve had chocolate mousse and mango mousse and they are both to die for. I have yet to try their peach mousse cake. If mousse is not your thing the bakery sells a variety of desserts: canollis, strawberry shortcake, tiramisu, blueberry cornbread and more. They also have coffee and tea. I highly recommend Chapelure when you’re done eating lunch or dinner at Sansu sushi–the bakery is just next door! Perfect end to a meal.
Love love love Chapelure. Great atmosphere. Friendly people. Some pastries are highly unusual for the Lansing area, and all are fantastic. Their fruit tarts are impeccable, and their sweet potato cake is light and airy and absolutely fabulous. They take longer to make a latte than most places around here, and the final product is far better than any place around here.
Really good breakfast location. Great pastreys and cakes! The best cake is the mango mousse cake. Ps: the coffee is really good as well 😀
Cool atmosphere. The desserts are very good, but the coffee leaves something to be desired.
Pastries are amazing. Very good work being done here.
Great pastries. After working out at the MAC I like to splurge sometimes on a chocolate croissant or brioche at this place. I’ve had a bunch of different things and they’ve all been good. It’s reasonable too, everything is in the $2.50 range.
