A bright spot in a town of ho-hum cuisine. Had a wonderful Korean bibimbap in a hot stone bowl. Delicious, fast, cheap, and friendly service. Atmosphere is nothing to speak of, but in a town that seems to lack imaginative cuisine, this hit the spot for us. Loved it!

This place is rads!. Charlie Kang’s is delicious! I’ve ordered their Bibimbap a few times, and it is like my favorite thing in the world. The food is good and the servers are nice. Come here if you want pretty decent Korean food!

Great. I’ve been to Charlie Kang’s a couple of times now, once for dinner and once during lunch. I’ve been very happy both times. The vegetables were very fresh both times, and although our orders were out to the table in a very short time, nothing seemed rushed. The ddukbokki is probably one of the most satisfying foods I’ve ever had, even if it’s not that good for you. The staff here is super polite, too. Like to the point where you’re going out of your way to be a good customer because everyone is just so frigging nice.

Excellent Korean, from someone who has been to South Korea. Amazinggg Kimchi jun, I get it every time I’m there. The vegetable mandu (fried dumplings) is also a great appetizer, and try bulgolgi if you’re looking for a unique flavored beef dish that’s light and fresh.

Outstanding Mongolian Beef- I can’t order it in other places. Also LOVE the squid stir fry.

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I just ordered General Tsao’s Chicken and they brought me egg foo young. I called them and they said they would bring the correct order. Then they call back 5 minutes later and tell me I’ll have to pay for the chicken!!!!!!! I bitched for like 5 minutes with them, but they said they were willing to lose a customer over their screw up. They actually tried to tell me that I changed my order at the end of the call! I’ve NEVER once ordered egg foo young!!! What a bunch of jerks. What’s more, my receipt SAYS General Tsao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Insanity…. The lady told me she would call the cops on me for swearing!

My first true experience with Korean food, gotta say it was a delicious choice! Kangs served up a awesome Bulgoge, along with perfect kimchee and insured I’ll delve way further into this cuisine. Can’t wait to return to Kangs and explore more!
