GOOD Burgers. Best burgers in town. I am VERY picky about my burgers and how they are made. This place has the best burgers and are very cheap in price. The floor here is ALWAYS sticky and this is not a place for a date. The place is usually full of college kids which I do not mind but if you have small children I do not think you should bring them in.
Beer selection is great, it’s an aging college bar to be sure, the burgers once phenomenal are now Sysco-crap tastic. Easy to see that it’s a standard foodservice 80/20 pre packed patty on a generic bun with some nasty American single… A shame cause I remember the burgs to be really good years ago. Did not try the ZA but it smelled good at the next table.
Awesome. My husband and I went at lunch and arrived just before noon which was good since the place filled up fast. He had the olive burger, I had the bacon cheese burger on a pretzel roll and both were amazing. If only we didn’t live on the west coast, we’d be back again and again. During lunch rush the service was just fine and the prices couldn’t be beat. A burger, tots and a soda for $5 combined with great taste, what is not to like.
Meh. Many of my friends rave about Crunchy’s, and they claim to have the best burgers in EL. I’d rather go to Peanut Barrel, which actually DOES have the best burgers in EL, and good service to boot!
Go for the atmosphere. The last time I was here, Captain Morgan stopped by and gave out free cups/hats/drinks. It was awesome! However, you definitely don’t want to be sober when the karoke starts up….
