Very, very good burgers. I’d put them in my top four in the country. I will forewarn you that these are grease grenades in every possible way, so don’t even THINK about eating these on the go. You need plenty of table space, a heap of napkins, an empty stomach, and probably a stout hand washing when you’re done. And if you get fries call for backup, because even the small is stupidly plentiful.
Where’s the Seasoning?. This place has good, thick, juicy burgers but I wish they would add seasoning to their burgers. Also they offer some amazing toppings which can make a soggy bun. How about toasting the buns on both sides for a longer time. I can go to Crunchys if I want a good burger
Kid Obsession. I have twin grandsons, age 13, who are hooked on Five Guys. I have to take them there at least twice a month. I have lunch with them. My personal order is always the little burger, a single patty v. the standard double, with cheese and with free grilled mushrooms on top. There are free grilled onions or peppers, too. The veggie sandwich features grilled onions and green pepper with lettuce and tomato, if you wish, cheese optional. A granddaughter likes that. One large order of fries will do for our entire party of 3-4 people, depending. A large order fills a big cup, and then about the same amount bonus fries dumped in on top of the order. A small order is plenty for 2 people, unless they play pro sports, maybe. And you can get them in plain or Cajun flavor, which is a great option when youre in the mood. When I take the two boys, the tab is around $26, with 3 drinks, but then I skip supper, so it evens out. The price is well worth it.
So many fries. Love the fries, but the portion they give you is huge. I split an order with my friend and we STILL couldn’t finish them.
The burgers are sooooo good! All the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is nice! Definitly recommend the Cajun fries! just a little hint of spice!
