Great place to study. Good parking. Good coffee. I like the sandwiches too. All and all I like this place. Of course they are known for the pies.
Skimpy fruit pies. For a place that claims its fame from its pie, this restaurant has disappointingly thin fruit pies. I can do better, and when I can do better, I do it–at home. Flavors of the various pies are fine, though.
Good Mediterranean sandwich. Can’t say I enjoy their pies.. The company I work for had an event catered by Grand Traverse Pie Company. I hadn’t before been impressed by their pies; I’m not sure why everyone goes crazy for them, but I do really enjoy their vegetarian Mediterranean sandwich.
