  Best cookies in town (besides the cookies Meijer bakery sells). I like that the cookies are baked & then placed in a warmer to keep the cookies warm & as if they just came out of the oven. This place gives you your cookies fast. The workers are nice & patient. The best thing about this place is the hours. They are open until 3am!

  Terrible customer service. I honestly never take time to do reviews but I felt especially compelled to write this one. Insomnia in East Lansing has absolutely horrendous customer service. When there is a problem with your order, you are asked to email their online customer service team who apparently doesn’t know how to communicate. I emailed three times and although I received initial responses, none of the three different people ever followed up. I’ve had problems there more than once and each time it was not dealt with in any form of professional or apologetic manner whatsoever. It’s clear that they couldn’t care less how you feel about your transaction. Believe me, it’s not worth dealing with so many issues just to eat a below average tasting cookie that probably won’t be delivered on time.

  Awful experience. We will NEVER order delivery from Insomnia cookies again. We ordered cookiewiches at 7:55 pm, were told it would be a 30 minute wait, they were delivered at 9:10 and it was just a few cookies in a box, the delivery guy said he would be back in 20 minutes with our ice cream sandwiches, finally came back at 10:30 and had the exact same (cold) cookies in the box with a scoop of ice cream next to it. The delivery guy didn’t have enough change on him, requiring us to give him a $4 tip when (in my opinion) we shouldn’t have had to pay anything. While we were waiting for the delivery guy to come back the second time we called to see what was taking so long and there is NO way to call the local store, you always call someone at the corporate office. We didn’t end up having any cookies at the end of all this,it wasn’t worth the $9 at that point. Lesson learned: only get cookies from Insomnia if you are willing to GO to the store.
