Food was okay, waitstaff was rude. I do not recommend this place.
Everything looks and tastes like it came out of a microwave. No megusta.
Terrible. The beans are ridiculously salty so you know they came from a can and the meat in my friend’s enchiladas and tacos had huge pieces of gristle in it.The service is also pretty poor and the place is usually ridiculously noisy even when it’s not crowded. Like they have no barriers between the banging pans in the kitchen and the dining room. Awful.
Pretty bad. I can understand why some might think it authentic but this place is seriously missing the mark. Ordered wet burrito and enchiladas. The chile colorado tasted canned and cheese was flavorless blob. The meat in the burro tasted like the canned potted meat you can buy at a 99cent store. Wait staff was good. I won’t go back.
Great. This used to be the sort of place that had the menu where you could tell it was authentic food because it was just blobs of red and cheese with various names underneath (for fans, that’s a very good thing). I’m almost disappointed that they improved the menu, but the food is unchanged. A combo plate and a beer can be gotten for under $10, and that’s food enough for anyone.
False Advertising. We (party of four adults) from out of town were staying at a local hotel and looking for a place to eat on Thursday, July 5, 2012. We picked this place on Grand River in East Lansing from its ad in the Yellow Pages. The ad said $2.50 margaritas Sunday through Thursday. When we were seated we asked for the margaritas and our server didn’t have a clue what we were talking about. Another gentleman came over and he said they didn’t have $2.50 margaritas, never heard of it. They DID however, sell us an overpriced $19.00 pitcher of margaritas with no noticeable alcohol. The food was OK, not spectacular, but not terrible, either. Just run-of-the-mill Mexican fare. So beware, don’t ask for cheap margaritas, they advertise them in the phone book, but won’t produce!
Best mexican restaurant in the area. My parents always like to go here when they come up to visit. Los Tres has five different types of fajitas and they are all amazing!!
