Sushi paradse. I’ve had sushi just about everywhere in this country and overseas and this place consistently rivals the best I’ve eaten. A little wait at busy times so go across the street and have a beer, come back in 20, and your table will be ready. Life is good.
I’ve eaten every roll here except for the Angry Bird. It’s easily the best sushi in East Lansing. The ingredients are always fresh, the waitstaff is attentive and polite and the atmosphere is very relaxing. My favorite is the volcano roll; it’s good stuff.
I went to Omi today with a friend for lunch. The service was very friendly and the salad was very good. I also ordered the spicy salmon roll and the spicy scallop roll. They were both tasty but were not put together very well and kept falling apart. Not bad, but not all that great either.
