This was one of the best SUSHI I have ever had! I would love to go again! I would love to try more kind of Sushi!! This place was nice and clean place!
Great Sushi, Great Staff. I have eaten sushi at Sansu multiple times and always leave happy. If you spend $10 per person, you get a soup and salad. It is always delicious and great quality sushi for a very reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and very good. Best sushi restaurant I have ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot!
Poor service. After a half hour wait, with a table open, people lower on the wait list were seated before us. We complained, but were ignored so we left. I guess you have to know someone there.
Salmon Bento Box. If you can’t decide what to get but want a little of everything, I recommend their gorgeous bento box meals which comes with tempura, california rolls, rice, fruit, and your choice of meat for $12 (lunch). The dinner bento comes with more tempura and salmon/shrimp sushi ($20). I did find their chicken teriyaki bento to be pretty bland but their teriyaki salmon has a nice seared, smokey taste that satisfies any fish craving. On top of that, their sushi is fresh and the atmosphere is what keeps me coming back after a long day of classes for a little zen dining. Save room for the Chocolate Rock!
Its a nice resturaunt, amd the atmosphere is stunning, but you are paying for it, the food is good, but you could go to sushi ya and pay a lot less for same quality of sushi. Sansu is nice, but low lighting and mahogany should cost that much extra.
The best sushi right here in e. lansing. I’ve been coast to coast eating sushi and sansu is the best sushi restaurant in America. The sushi chefs are the best and they are amazingly creative they’re truly artists
Good atmosphere and sushi. My wife and I went there for our first tasted of sushi in EL. Atmosphere on a Monday night was good and we sat in the area where you have to take off your shoes. Seems reasonably priced, but we both agreed after that we didn’t need the specialty rolls and stick with the basics. Specialty roll was good, but too heavy with the tempura.
