Sindhu is far and away the best Indian food in the Lansing area. It isn’t even a contest. Their lunch buffet is always fantastic. Nowadays they seem to always have their creamy chicken tikka masala and their not creamy curry chicken, very good tandoori chicken, 4-5 vegetarian entrees (their korma and makhani are my wife’s faves, while the paneer saag is more my speed), some pakora variant, decent naan, solid raita, 3 types of rice (including chicken biryani that is excellent) and a small salad bar. I wish they’d put their chicken saag on the bar sometimes again, as their version is probably my favorite Indian dish anywhere – but you can order it off the menu of course.It’s sometimes VERY busy as this place isn’t a secret and is a favorite for MSU staff and students (especially international staff and students – you’ll often hear 5 or 6 languages being spoken while you dine), so don’t be surprised if there is a bit of a wait – it’s always worth it.
Good Indian food..friendly staff..tried the buffet…has a good spread..paneer makhni veggie is not that great..their tadka dal , gobi and mixed vegetable is good in the buffet..anyone looking for Indian food must go..veg buffet is priced at 9$
Delicious, flavorful food. The food is amazing. Dishes rotate every day, so there’s always some variety. The rice is flavorful and delicious. The naan is garlicky and buttery. The food, overall, is awesome. The service however, leaves a little to be desired.
Wonderful place for lunch buffet.. This place is popular and for good reason. The food is excellent and the servers are wonderful. This restaurant does everything right. If you want excellent Indian food, if you want an great meal and great service in a relaxing atmosphere, come here.
VERY good food. Their buffet is pretty great too. I think the buffet is during lunch ONLY and is about 8-$10. Chicken curry & chicken tikka Marsala and naan is very good. All of their sauces are delicious.
The Masala is really good! There is also a dish , it is flat bread with lamb baked into it. Thats also grest. I oove the aroma as I walk in!
Friends took me here for the lunch buffet and I just had to go back. Delicious!
