Frustrating as hell. Given the low price, I think Woody’s food is great. The problem is this. You can eat in, in which case you’re subjected to fluorescent lights, lots of noise, and plastic/formica, or you can carry out, in which case you will not get everything you paid for. I’ve carried out perhaps two dozen times in the last three years and unless I unpack the bag on the counter, figure out what’s missing, ask for it, and then repack the bag, I invariably get home and discover something missing. I just got home with a carryout order to find an inedibly soggy salad (they didn’t put the dressing on the side as I had asked) and no pita bread. I think I’m done with Woody’s. I used to love it but it’s just too frustrating.
Everyone says this place the best. No it’s not. I have never had chicken kabobs so dry in my life, I asked for scallion and garlic hummus, idk maybe they have me original there was nothing scallion or garlic about it. Never going there again!
Good stuff. Coming from my area, we have lots of middle eastern restaurants…so this was not a unique experience. BUT tasty, and each dish had it’s own statement. Another ‘neighborhood diner’ experience. Will be back.
Visited the location near MSU – the wait staff was friendly but the food was quite average at best – left disappointed
This is one of the best places to go for Mediterranean. Amazing food. The falafel salad and the spicy falafel sandwich were a couple items I have enjoyed here. They make fresh squeezed juices here that are fantastic.
Baa-baa no sheep!. What?? A middle-eastern restaurant without lamb and serving up a dull fattouch??
Excellent. Family operated Great tasty fresh food….and pretty much everything on the menu is nutritious. A truly healthy alternative to fast food. Try it, you’ll like it.
