Poor service. Just recently dined here. There was no one at the hostess stand to seat us during lunch.. Once we sat ourselves, no one came to the table for about 10 minute, although several servers walked right by us. The food is not bad, but the service was poor and the Tapas are pricey.

Amazing Restaurant!!!. We have been to 501 a couple times now. We are avid Red Rooster diners… until now! We love this place! The atmosphere is relaxing and Upper class. The food has never missed. The seafood bisque is better than any I have ever had! I don’t have a single complaint. I have been recommending this place, and will continue to do so!

Service was appallingly slow. Other tables that came in after us were served and done before we got our food. Food was tasty, but very expensive. Not a great experience.

Great atmosphere, worth a try!. Don’t let someone else make up your mind for you – try the 501. It’s sleek, airy, and offers the biggest tapas menu in town, with tastes and prices that will rival anything you’ll find in Royal Oak.The spinach artichoke dip is a creamy cheesy masterpiece. If your idea of this dip is the stuff they serve at chains like Applebee’s, you will hardly it. The balsamic syrup with the beef tips is amazing. The walnut chicken was a little too sweet for my taste. LOTS of great drink concoctions!

Won’t go back. You never know when you’re presenting your restaurant to first time customers. Evidently the 501 doesn’t care about repeat business because our waiter was incompetent, management was invisible and the mediocre food came out missing ingredients listed on the menu. I’m pretty easy going, not that hard to please, but this was beyond a bad experience.

0 stars. My friends and I have tried to go to the wine tasting events for the past two months. The one in January was cancelled, so we made plans to go to the one this last Sunday. On their website, they suggest making a reservation for the wine tasting. We called but they said on the phone that they don’t take reservations for the wine tasting. We called again Sunday morning to make sure the tasting was still on, but they said that they were not taking any MORE reservations for the tasting.I was excited to go and try out the place, as I have heard it is really good. However, based on my experience with them so far, they have lost a potential customer. Don’t even try to go to a special event there, they obviously don’t want people to come.

Really wanted to like it. The first time I ate here I liked it…..had a couple vegetarian tapas and all were good. The most recent time I came I had the shitake spring rolls which were tiny for how much you pay and were laying on a bed of wilted soggy lettuce, I really wouldn’t have noticed if the lettuce was not there but I defiantly noticed it then. I had a mushroom risotto, which was a fine minus more less then fresh vegetables. The mushrooms were, but the summer squash, zuccini, and eggplant were not fresh. They looked like they sat in a bucket together fior a few days first. Not a lot of flavor. Wanted a dessert but couldn’t choose between the freezer isle selection so I just didn’t get one. I wish I had better things to say but freshness is important to me and so is dessert. Everyone else seems to be having a yummy meal here so maybe it was just a fluke for me though…..I’d say if you live in the area try it for yourself.
