TERRIBLE. We wanted a place to eat before seeing a show at the Whiting. We ordered food at 6:00pm and had not received it by 7:30. We had to leave without eating. Another table near us left also. All the tables in the restaurant were occupied but hardly any one had food. I can not recommend this restaurant.
Blackstones has awesome food – eaten there several times and always LOVE what we order- wonderful service!! Go see Marlo, she’s the best! We also love the music and ambiance. Great place!
I ordered a $10 personal pizza which took 10-15 minutes for them to make. In that time they made a pizza with cheese hardly melted, spongy and it was cold… but somehow burnt.
Nice place to drink but not for dinner. Food is inconsistent and overpriced. The menu changes every few months as they try to figure out what they are doing. Waitstaff is friendly. Decor is nice.

Dear Blackstones, I would really like to put you on my list of favorite restaurants, but you make this difficult. Your waitstaff is overworked and has little if any time to spend on getting my order in a reasonable amount of time (taking it or bringing it). Don’t think of asking for a minute to look at a menu if the waitress is there – you will not see her again for a good 15 minutes. In all the times I have been there, I have yet to see anyone who seems to be a manager or an owner. Yesterday (a Tuesday in early August) you had tables sit dirty for over an hour – while people were waiting to be seated. Summer is busy, especially Tuesday nights when the Crim training groups are done with their runs and like to come by for a drink or a bite to eat. Please staff accordingly and show up once in a while and pretend you care. I hope you have planned appropriately for the car cruise that is going by your establishment today and tomorrow. Like I said, I am really working to put you on the top of my favorite list. I want your restaurant to succeed, and I think the food is good and the location is nice. Please make it a little easier on us, the customer to enjoy your establishment.
Not Impressed. Food isn’t good, and is over priced.Prices are through the roof.
