If I could come here every day, three times a day my life would be more then complete. Every time I visit home, this is my first and final stop. I live 700 miles away and people who’ve never even been to Michigan know where to go should they ever wind up in town.
I miss the food. I relocated from Flint 8 years ago and I have not found a spot that serves food like LA Azteca. I miss it so much.
Been 30 years since my first vist. I have raved about the food at La Azteca for decades, and no one believes until they try it.Yes, just a little hole in the wall at Court, Corunna, and Hammerberg. But the food is so good, I sometimes drive 80 miles out of my way for a taco dinner.I have quite a few followers, others that will go 80 miles out of their way to get some tacos, you know who you are.I am not from Flint, I live in Saginaw, I just had some good friends in Flint.Pete
Fantastic Tacos. The tacos are served in tin foil and they have to be because they would soak through any kind of paper. The tacos are huge grease bombs. Now, this may sound like a bad thing, but that is wrong.These tacos are amazing and bursting with flavor. Make sure you have plenty of napkins or paper towels handy because you will need them. I can almost smell the deliciousness just while typing this.Everything is handmade and it shows. It may be a bit out of the way but do yourself a favor and let your inner glutton come out for this place.
