Pizza and salad were good. WORST chicken wings I have EVER had!!
Great hype and disappointing results. After years of hearing this was some of the best Italian food in the Flint area, I purchased a certificate to eat at their Fenton location. They closed before I got to use. I finally made it to their original Flint location , to find a small, cramped dining room. I was seated along the wall to the kitchen entrance, and was bumped more times than I could count. Tables on top of each other. So I had hopes that the food would be worth the cramped spaces and oh-so tired and worn-out dcor. Not so much. The lasagna was standing in water – poor drainage of the noodles? Taste was average – not awful. But the waitress was too busy to check on us, failed to bring bread and we were done eating by the time we got it. Drink refills – besides charging beyond ‘2’, we couldn’t get them as she was too busy. I will stick with Italia Gardens for pasta from now on. Too bad, as everyone brags what a great place this is. I think that ‘is’ – is a ‘was’.
Staff will blame you for their mistakes. Got take-out on Valentines day for my husband and I. We got a personal (small) pizza, chicken tortellini, and a small antipasto salad. First off, the wait was 30 min for the take out. Then my husband goes to pick it up and they forget the pizza. Upon returning to get missing pizza the hostess asks my husband why he didn’t do her job and make sure the order was together. Once we actually get to eat, all the food is cold. The chicken tortellini was in alfredo sauce that was over spiced, could not taste the food just the spices. Who spices alfredo? The pizza, congealed from sitting for a hour, was horrible. Canned toppings suck. The dog refused this one. The salad was the only part of the meal that was OK. For the above three items we paid $35. Warning: Poor quality food and the staff will blame YOU for any issues!
Best pizza ever…….. This place is known by the local regulars for its excellent customer service and management. It’s ZAP lunch (all you can eat) is great if you work or live nearby. You have your choice of 4 tasty soups/stews/chili plus a loaded salad bar. But none of this matters after you have their pizza. It is to die for! Crispy, thin crust, brick-oven-baked perfection every time. If you’re feeling adventurous, try it with a splash of red wine vinegar. Strangely yummy!
Great lunch deal. We had the Zap Lunch, this is a great deal and can fit into anyone’s lunch schedule. Really good soups (homemade you can tell) and salads you make yourself….plus it’s all you can eat. Nice!
A dump with greasy pizza. This is the worst pizza I have ever had, due to how greasy it is. I love the fact that it is thin crust, but it is not edible due to the grease slick that covers it. The service is unprofessional and very very slooooow.
The best thin crust pizza in Michigan. Get the directors special. Don’t worry about the neighborhood. Just park, get a beer and get ready for some great pizza. Flint maybe dying but luigis just keeps on going.
