Great Food. I enjoyed my meal from Grill of India. The service was excellent, the food was even better, and overall, I rate this place very high, a five star rating. I will be coming back, and my family feels the same way. And, I am VERY picky on my Indian food, and have been across the U.S. at numerous Indian restaurants. No one would expect to find such fabulous Indian food in Flint, MI, but, there is.

Good Food, Friendly Service. I have eaten Indian food in many restaurants in many states, and also home made food cooked by my Indian friends. I think Grill of India does a good job. I have liked everything I have ever ordered, and the staff is very friendly. My favs are masala and yellow curry dishes. My friends also like the lamb and okra dishes. The vegetarian and meat dishes are equally good. Naan is very good. Have eaten at several fancier Indian restaurants, and I recommend Grill of India as every bit as good.

Very disappointing. I really wanted to like Grill of India because it’s the only Indian restaurant in the area. Unfortunately, after several visits I’ve given up. Everything I’ve eaten here ends up tasting like those microwave dinners you find in the health food section at the grocery store; decent for a microwave dinner but exceptionally poor by any other standards. As a result I usually end up driving to Ann Arbor or East Lansing when the cravings for Indian food can’t be ignored any longer.

Absolutely love this restaurant. Service is quite exceptional. I go there every week and each time I walk out happy. If you are a first timer try chicken tandoori and butter chicken. It will blow your mind away. Cost between $10-$15 an entree.

Best Indian in Genessee. This place is great – VERY authentic indian food…the location/interior is basic and clean, nothing fancy, but there is no place within an hour drive that will serve better Indian than Grill of India. Excellent Samosas too!
