Always awesome.
Best steak ever!. My sister and I had about an hour to kill in Davidson while her daughter went to a party over there. We asked around for a steak place and were referred to Lucky’s. We were nervous about time as when we got there it was very busy. We opted to wait for a seat at the bar but preferred dining. Within 5 min they were able to seat us in dining. All night we saw people hustling around. Our waitress was great! The bread served with our order was the MOST delicious and we even got one to take home! Yum! Our salad was wonderful. The steak was cooked to perfection with delectable juices that required NO steak sauce to enhance. We were in and out within an hour. The only disappointment is that I live 2 hours away!! Can’t wait for an excuse to be back in the area again.
Excellent taste in food, big portions, fair price. Would recommend, my favorite restaurant.
Trained untrained?. We went to Lucky’s because that us where our young adult step daughters wanted to go. Lucky’s doesn’t take reservations so the girls got there early the hostess took the name10 and 15 minutes later the girls were sad not all of us were here yet.and the waitress serving our step daughters about 10 minutes later the waitress announce dad if we didn’t show up soon the girls have to get up and get back in the lobby and wait.the waitress was clearly irritated the table was not completely sad and treated the girls if they were young children she was unkind she was unprofessional.we tell the girls to go ahead and order appetizers in their dinners until we arrived.when we get there the waitress became an outstanding server very attentive we ate the dinner we spent $230.our youngest daughter felt that she felt like an undervalued customer.we went to the hostess stand to speak to the manager and worth on demand a raise on the phone and will not take her complaint.I said I would wait for the manager to get off the phone and hoses Serena then told me she’s on the phone with the owner she won’t talk to you.15 minutes later still no response from the manager and then asked for business card so I can make the contact today or tomorrow.I wasn’t informed they don’t have business cards I would just have to call and ask for any manager.15 minutes later we finally left and a manager came out the door at this point it’s absolutely I will be on every website not speaking very highly of Luckys in Davidson Michigan.if the owner was really on the phone I think he would be more than happy for the managers stop to call an assist a customer but apparently that’s not true.so that tells me that the hostesses are not trained they don’t know how to handle difficult situations the waitress only cares effort section is full and lucky food is satisfactory at best I will never go back.
Very Disappointed. We are regular customers at the Davison location. Our most recent visit was one I which will cause us to not return. After sending back my wifes ny strip (well done) only to have it return in the same bloody condition. She opted not to send back. For it would have basically ruined the meal. And could not eat it. Yet we still were billed the same price. This was not the fault of the waitstaff but the lack of attention to detail by the kitchen. We often recommend this establishment over the other Luckys locations. This will not be the case any longer. As a note to management. You may find it dufficult to serve your patrons while the entire waitstaff was preoccupied with the Football game. To the point in which it created difficulty for those dedicated servers to reach they’re tables. My apologies to Ms Dana our waitress. For the minimum gratuity, but the kitchen evidently let you down.
Rude bartender. The food, drinks, & service are consistently above average, with the exception of Lindsey the bartender. She is often rude & acts like she is doing you a favor if she feels like making you a drink. Really doesn’t fit in with the rest of the great staff. I and several other customers avoid the place if we know she’s working. She would be better suited as a stocker at Walmart!
Luck’s Davison,MI. We went to this location with three other couples for a birthday celebration. They were quite busy. Which should not matter. When we recieved our food it was way over cooked, not just my wife and i, but two out of the other three couples as well. Empty mussel shells, burt steaks, tough lobster overcooked crab legs and petrified shrimp.The only ones that were not bad was thankfully the Birthday girls and her husband .Not wanting to spoil the celebration or make a scean and wait another hour, i waited to confront management through E-mail, THIS WAS A MISTAKE! !!! Apparently if you dont make a scean and disrupt your evening then and there, they will refuse to assist you in any way. STORE POLICY THEY SAID!!! Have been a fan of Lucky’s for some time. Was glad to see them expand. However, for a $100.00 dollar meal i won’t be going back to Lucky’s,nor will the other two couples. So if you are so UNLUCKY to attend an evening out with your friends at this location.Beware!!! VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER who has not complained about a bad experience in more than twenty years. Maybe that is why the Manager at this location, who responded didn’t feel they needed to help.COMPLACENCY. Facebook is a great way to spread the word.
