Pizza = Sooo good.. A little on the pricy side for pizza. But worth it, I’d say. If you’re feeling like a bit of a splurge.Friendly service, they really seemed to go out of their way to try and help me find something I liked without trying to overcharge me. (I don’t like Gouda, I’ve tried many times)
I’ve been going to Big O’s since it was on Bridge. When friends and clients visit from the Chicago or Indy area, this is where I take them. Great goooooood. Great service. No pretensions. Sure, go up one block and get pretty good Italian. But with a huge side of attitude and a ridiculous check. One Chicago friend is convinced Big O’s would kill in Bucktown or Wrigleyville. I agree. Fortunately, we have them killing’ here instead. BTW Don’t miss Cuban dinners on Fridays.
I’m here on business and this place was recommended by some locals. It is a hole in the wall, but the pizza is fantastic. Nice, crispy crust; lots of topping choices; and comes out hot and fresh. I will definitely be back!

Always Great. This place is one of my favorites. They are a great place to have a casual lunch or dinner downtown. Quaint place with checkered table clothes with consistently good food. The pizza’s are all good, from the standards to some pretty innovative toppings. I also recommend any of the Italian dinners and I get cravings sometimes for the Midnight Sandwich which highlights their Cuban flair.
Great Food, Great Location, Great Staff. Big O’ Cafe is one of my favorite places to eat in GR. The food is great and reasonably priced. I’ve never had a bad meal yet. Just over a month ago we had our wedding rehearsal dinner with 30 people. The staff was fantastic and they made it so easy. It was the perfect atmosphere for our friends and family to talk and catch up while eating some amazing food. Our out of town guests LOVED the food and our in-town friends promised to return again. Big O’s was an important part of our special wedding weekend and I would recommend them anytime!
Pizza. Very good pizza with inventive toppings. It is in a strange location.
