Disappointed this time. Visited tonight. As always service, atmosphere, music all wonderful. I ordered a bowl of one of the nightly soups. It was pretty much a bowl of Campbell chunky beef stew. Seriously out of a can. It was not good. I was surprised. Not their usual fare.
Excellent Perch. Our family ate there for the first time two weeks ago..can’t beleve we never tried it in all the years we lived here! It was great. My husband and I had the Friday Perch special and we both loved it. Only thing we didn’t like was the cole slaw. Everyone else in our party loved their meals especially the burgers and queso cheese sticks. Will definitely return soon.
I was told they have good burgers so I went there. The burgers were pretty good, better than average. The beer selection could have been better since this is Grand Rapids, a microbrew powerhouse town. With great bars like Hopcat, Founders and Logan’s Alley nearby I don’t know if I can be enticed to come here again anytime soon. An average bar in a town full of superb bars is not something to tweet everyone about.
Great place!. I’ve been here several times, it’s always been great, It’s not gourmet, but they definitely have great bar food, and the music is perfect, more or less the same format as Faction on Sirius/XM
