I had one of the best burgers I’ve tried in GR at the Blue Dog Tavern. The breakfast burger was amazing, especially with the delicious maple mayo along with the thick cut strips of bacon. So good. The fries weren’t anything special, just average prefrozen fries, so I wouldn’t recommend upgrading because it’s not worth the upcharge. At first I wasn’t too impressed with the service, but they were okay overall. Definitely worth it for the great burger. I would return for sure!

I heard about this place from the grandwich competition as well as friends who live in the area. Blue dog lived up to the good things I’d heard. Very laid back place with good no frills food. Had a veggie burger and some poutine tots, both were on point. Excited to go back and try another burger or dog.
