Awesome Fish. Previous times I have been to Bull’s head I had ordered a sandwich or a burger and was very pleased. This last time I chose to order the Barramundi, and I could not have been happier. Pretty much every other person at the table had to try a bite of my food to see why I was so happy with my selection. Even after sharing with everyone I still had food left on my plate. Order fish for sure!
Loved it. Great food – 4 star food at 2 star prices. Great location – close to hotels and convention center. Will for sure be going back.
Tried crab cakes, spinach dip, and Reuben. It was ok, pricing was good for the downtown location and the service was fast.
Good Food, Bad Reservation Policy. I chose this restaurant for my birthday based on the recommendations from friends who go here for lunch all the time. I made a reservation ahead of time since we had a large group (7 people). When we arrived, everything went well. We were seated upstairs (which is more formal than the bar atmosphere that is downstairs). Our food and drinks were timely and the waitress did a very nice job with service. The food was excellent as well. The problem came when the waitress politely informed me that there was a 2 hour limit on reservations and that there was a party of 16 coming in for dinner and they would be sitting at the tables where we were. This was not stated when I made the reservation or when I arrived at the restaurant. Some people had not finished their dinner, let alone decided to have dessert. We paid our bills and stayed to finish our drinks. While we finished our drinks (20 min or so) the manager kept looking over at our table and hovering around us. We also saw that the group next to us was told the same thing and they also looked very disappointed. It was unfortunate that this is how our time ended at the restaurant because it did have great food and a great atmosphere. I do not fault the waitress, but I do fault the management policies. This place lost money due this policy as we would’ve stayed for dessert and more drinks since we were having such a great time. My friends and I will not be returning. As a word of warning: If you’re making reservations have the restaurant clarify their 2 hour policy.
The rainbow trout was very good, group of 12 at dinner and there were no complaints. Well just one and it is HUGE- no Guiness. No self respecting tavern should be without Guiness.
Get the ostrich burger
