Surprisingly Good. Stopped here last weekend. Was in the mood for some good seafood and the guy working the front desk of my hotel suggested this place. He suggested several others, but based on reviews I decided to go here. Was not very busy and service did seem slow, however server was nice.My date and I ordered small plates. I do not think they get the idea of small plates (tapas). The reason is because she didn’t leave a menu at the table, and she brought all 5 dishes at the same time. I believe this is why the wait was long. She was waiting for all to be ready, when at a normal place they bring dishes as they are prepared. The food however was surprisingly good. The crab cake was one of the largest and tastiest I’ve had at a restaurant…it was filled with lump crab and not bread crumbs. The scallops were great. Calamari was standard fair. Spicy shrimp with quinoa and tzatziki sauce was very good, but the shrimp wasn’t cold or hot and wasn’t spicy in the least bit. Braised short rib was good but fatty.Ordered a Malbec and riesling. Both were clearly cheap glasses of wine (wine list does not show names) for the price. Call it a house wine and I won’t complain…but put it on a wine list and charge $8-$10 per glass and I expect something decent. Not high end but decent. These were $5 glasses at best. The headache I got was the biggest giveaway.Overall the food is worth giving this place a second chance. I will just ask for the dishes to be brought out as they are prepared.
