  Try the Irish nachos!. If we didn’t have a coupon for Logan’s Alley, we would never have even considered eating here. I had barely even heard of this place. But I am glad we did. The bar was very crowded and loud, and we had to wait a bit for a table. The service was excellent. We were told by friends that the Irish nachos appetizer was a must-try, and we agree! It was large enough to make a meal out of. Our entrees were pretty good, but bland. I had the shepherds pie, which was tasty, but I found it had more peas than meat, a seriously ungodly amount of peas. The overabundance of peas and bland entrees were not enough to make us feel disappointed with our meal though. We like this place, and recommend it.

  You Decide. Oh Logan’s Alley how I love and hate you. The cons: Slow/unfriendly service, uncomfortable/badly laid out indoor seating and an awkward food and beer menu. The pros: Cheap drinks, huge beer selection, an eclectic menu with tasty food, great weekend specials (can you say seventy-five cent sliders and tots bar?), convenience (I live within walking distance) and outdoor seating. For me the pros outweigh the cons.

  Great beer selection. This is my favourite bar in GR. i’ve never had food here, but the drink prices are very low, and the selection is unbeatable. a great place for conversation, a game or two of pool/darts, and a few cold ones.
