  I was not very impressed with Mojo’s. I’d heard a lot of great things about it, so it was kind of a letdown. When we got there we ordered drinks at a table, and then went to the bar to sit with friends. Our waitress came over and told us that we had to request to be transferred to the bar. My boyfriend had started off with water, and she told him that he’d have to order a drink if he sat at the bar. This seemed obvious, and we were planning on ordering drinks anyway. It came off as a little rude. Then my boyfriend asked one of the workers behind the bar which types of scotch they had, and he replied that he wasn’t a bartender so he didn’t know. Then he proceeded to stand there doing nothing instead of asking or trying to help us. My boyfriend waited to order a drink for about 15 minutes (and the bar was not busy as all). Eventually the bartender came over and nicely told me that I’d have to cash out with the drink I ordered at our table and then start a new tab at the bar. It seemed weird but I understand it’s policy and not his decision, and he was super nice. After this, we waited another 10 minutes or so to cash out my one drink. Still during this time my boyfriend was not served. After we finally paid for my wayyyy overpriced drink, we just left. The entertainment was cool, but I was really disappointed with the waitstaff. I felt like they kept brushing us off, and then going to stand around and talk to each other. I guess I would give Mojo’s another try someday, but for now I am not recommending it.

  Don’t wear a ball cap or it means gang affiliation….wth??? Leave it in the car….a half mile away.

  Terrible Bar, Terrible Experience. I visited this bar with the expectations of having a good time since it is a big name bar in GR. I was having a generally good time dancing and sipping on my gin and tonic until I was confronted by three very large men. I was asked if I was selling the headphones I had on. I said no and was blatantly robbed by one of the men and punched several times by the others. When the bouncers broke up the scene I was kicked out and the three who assaulted and robbed me were allowed to stay. After contacting management the next morning to resolve the issue I was told that this happens on a nightly basis and they had more serious issues to handle. What a joke. I won’t be returning.

  Fun & Exciting. This place is fantastic. The food is decent and the entertainment is unlike any other. If you’re looking to be thoroughly entertained, this is the place. Drinks are a little pricey. Fun for everyone.
